Thank you for visiting The Basilica Of Saints Serge And Bacchus. Just as Judiasm represents The Father, the Lawgiver; and Christianity represents The Savior and The Christ, The Basilica of Saints Serge And Bacchus represents The Spirit, the combination of The Father and The Son. It is fitting that, with this century and this millenium almost completed, it is now time for the age of Aquarious, the age of love and understanding. The Spirit, as represented by The Dove, is with us for all time, even unto the end of the universe. It is with us wherever we go in the universe.

And, as part of this, it is also fitting that the Gay person take his rightful place in the future. He has been with us as a species for as far back as there is recorded history and probably much farther back than that. His strength, his drive, his brains and his ambition, have saved us so many times that there is no counting them. He has made history. He has been history. He has also been plagued with misunderstanding and fear, leading to terrible prejudice and hatred. His "differences" have been the cause of much of this misunderstanding. He doesn't create biological children and, for that, he is condemned by his straight brothers and sisters. He seeks his physical and emotional companionship with members of his own sex, creating a further wall. Who and what is the Gay male? What is his purpose in human societies? Why does he always appear, in every age, every generation?

Father Thomas, the world's acknowledged leading Gay Theologian who is Gay, presents us with answers that are both insightful and illuminating. We Gay people have, in our Western cultures, been told endless times that we are condemned in the Bible. No questions. No arguments. We are condemned. That is that.

The fact is, my friends, that this idea is totally wrong, without even a shred of Biblical proof. By looking at the Bible through the eyes of a Gay theologian Father Thomas has discovered what has been there all along. Learn what is meant by the "Great Gay Commission" and what that means for Gay people. Discover the rules of behaviour that are expected for the Gay person. No, that does not mean that we must give up our "Gayness." What it does require is that we learn about our special place in human society and what that means to our daily life and beliefs. Without a shadow of a doubt, thanks to Fr. Thomas, we now know that we have a very special place not only in human society, but also with the Creator. Consider, for example, the statement in the Book of Revelation that says the hundred and forty-four thousand who will be assumpted into Heaven will only be those who have not defiled themselves with women.

And there is more, much more, back to before the Temple of Solomon. Almost one thousand years before the birth of Our Saviour.

Discover, as I have, the absolute beauty of being Gay. Discover what it means to have a Gay marriage. And is there such a thing as Gay marriage in the Bible? And what do we do with our sex life? Are we supposed to become as monks with no physical contact? No sexual unions? Learn what the difference is between homosexual and Gay. There is a difference, a big difference.

Come, enter the Basilica. Feel the calm. Feel the restful atmosphere. Feel the Spirit. Find what you have been looking for for so long. Unite yourself with the Creator. As Father Thomas always says, "Remember, God loves us as Gay people."
